I had the Mac and cheese which is made to order and takes a little while. The chef was very open about that and even though I was happy to wait, he brought me a side dish to enjoy whilst I wait. Absolutely excellent service and gorgeous food. Can't wait to eat here again!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest smiles. The restaurant has such a cosy, welcoming vibe and you can tell it’s run with real love and care. The food was full of flavour, perfectly spiced, and the portion size was amazing too. We also tried the puff puff and it was the best I’ve ever had as it was light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were so friendly and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and great vibes in Dundee!
First time visiting the restaurant and I’m glad my fiance and I did. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We had ram suya, spicy chicken stew, fried plantains and rack of beef. We left full and glad that we came here on our trip.
Delicious food, perfectly spiced so I can still taste the ingredients, but with a kick. I got the Ram Suya. I could tell how much heart and precision the chef puts into the food. Also a great host! (Sorry photo is half eaten—it was that good that I forgot to snap a pic!)
I just had the best time at my colleague's baby shower at Horeb! The chef whipped up an incredible African feast, and every dish was freshly made and served up beautifully. He was super friendly, and the rest of the staff were just as awesome. They even kept the place open late for us, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., just so we could party it up! They helped us decorate for the baby shower, too—such a big help! I finally tried Jollof rice, and wow, it was delicious! Honestly, all the dishes were amazing. What a fantastic night!
From the moment we stepped in the door we felt so welcomed by the owners of this family run restaurant. The menu is extensive, filled with loads of fantastic options. We both settled with stew, me with lamb and my partner with fish. I had a fruity mocktail! Everything was absolutely perfect. So delicious and fresh and packed with flavour, portion sizes were very generous too! I can't fault our visit here - we both said that the warmth and passion of the owners shone through the quality of the food, we left feeling happy and full
I like to tasty new food and seek for good restaurants! :) At the weekends, my family and I went to a restaurant called The Horeb Food Co. in the city center of Dundee, it was the first time we tried this restaurant. After my first bite when the food came, I amazed by the tasty and they were far exceeded my expectations! :D It was super tasty lunch I got with a affordable price. My family and I were all absolutely enjoyed the food! I really recommend this Horeb Food restaurant to everybody who are in Dundee as well! _
I love the food, especially spicy curry!!! The food tasted nice and the friendly service. However, it took a little bit longer for waiting food due to it had only one staff there.
